A taste of Andalucia

If Spanish wines are recognised worldwide since the beginning of the history of humanity, Spanish olive oil enjoys, if possible, historically a greater recognition. Its quality, flavour and nobility are indisputable reasons why we have created the tasting of Andalusian olive oils. We will have on this occasion 3 types of olive oils served in three different types of glasses. The tasting will consist of savouring an olive oil from each glass that is presented covered, uncovering it to smell first and then taste its contents. In order to cleanse our palate between each sample, we will eat a piece of bread and drink a sip of water to dilute the flavour of the previous sample and proceed with the next one. Our professional instructor will tell us the main features, differences and elaboration of each olive oil without forgetting the history of our fabulous product. First our visual analysis and olfactory later, will take us the olive grove, to its roots, to those greenish extensions that mingle with the earth of orange and ochre colours that highlight the colour of its trees. We will analyse that soft liquid with the yolks of our fingertips that produces a feeling of well-being. As a final point we will taste olive oils that will leave us a swarm of acidic and sweet flavours, deep and green, tasty and complete that do not leave any palate indifferent.
